2-5 players // GMed // 2-3 hours per session // one-shot friendly

Handbaskets is a digitally enhanced, cyberwitch, demon-summoning battle royale game by Maxwell Lander. Players try to maximize their reputation, take out the competition, and stay alive. But death isn't the end—those who fall are "resleeved" into strange and entertaining new bodies to continue the entertainment.

The barrier between hell and earth has been shattered. Everything is hot (and bloody, and sticky), witchcraft is real, and you can have lunch with a demon any day of the week. With death having lost almost all meaning thanks to the technological development of  sleeves, the number one entertainment of the times is a series of extreme bloodsports, intended to appease the gods (the devilish ones) through bloody sacrifice.

Any physical left?

there are secretly a few available here: https://oddfolkshop.com/

Hi! I bought a physical copy thru kickstarter, and I'm about to run a game of this. however I cannot for the life of me figure out what Omen score is for. Any help?

hey there! The Omen score is in some ways a shifting difficulty class score for each character. If a PC has an omen of 55 and they roll 30, they succeed on their roll and their omen score becomes 30. The next time they roll they would be going for under 30, so if they rolled an 89 they would fail, but their omen would become 89, giving them a pretty good chance at success next time. Repeat forever.

Hopefully that helps a little bit!

Yes that does help!  Thank you :)

A heads up: the game’s byline says “a solo game about the end of a life” but the first part of the game description on the actual page says “2-5 players // GMed”

yikes! this is what i get for setting up two itch pages simultaneously. Thanks for the heads up, that byline is for Repent. lol.
